Rashay Layman, an accomplished public relations expert in Columbus, Ohio, has a strong foundation in advocacy and energy policy. After graduating from Muskingum College with degrees in Political Science and Business, she began her career advancing environmental initiatives with organizations like Working America and the Sierra Club.
Following a break to raise her children, Rashay completed an MBA, moved into the energy field managing utility projects, and established her own firm, Sown Strategies. Currently, she is the Senior Public Relations Manager at ESA. Beyond her career, she’s active in her community, serving as a Girl Scout troop leader and on the board of CHOICE, a nonprofit supporting homebirth options.
